1. Order Preparation and Estimated Timelines
When Will My Order Ship? Orders are typically prepared, verified, and handed over to the carrier within 3–5 business days after payment confirmation (excluding weekends and holidays).
Managing Your Order: Please note that this preparation period is subject to our Right of Cancellation (Section 5 of the Return Policy). If an item is unavailable or an error is found, we may cancel and refund the order during this time.
Delivery Estimates: Estimated delivery is typically 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on your location and carrier performance. Please remember that all delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.
2. Shipping Coverage and Carriers
Where We Ship: We currently ship only within the contiguous United States, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories.
Our Carriers: We utilize trusted national carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and others. The carrier is chosen based on efficiency, cost, and the specific destination of your package.
3. Shipping Fees and Tracking Your Order
Shipping Fees: Shipping fees are calculated dynamically at checkout based on the delivery address, package weight, and carrier rates. We offer free shipping only when explicitly stated as part of a promotional campaign.
Tracking Your Package: You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order has been shipped. Please allow up to 24 hours for the carrier to update the tracking information.
Tracking Assistance: If you do not receive tracking information within 5 business days of your order confirmation, please contact us at contact@darkium.us.
4. Once Your Order Has Shipped (Loss and Damage)
This section clearly defines where our responsibility ends and the carrier’s and customer’s responsibility begins.
Transfer of Responsibility (Protection Clause): Once your order is physically delivered to the designated shipping carrier (USPS, UPS, etc.), the responsibility for the package transfers to you, the customer. DARKIUM is not responsible for packages that are delayed, damaged, lost, or stolen during transit or after delivery.
Confirmed Delivery: If tracking shows a package as “Delivered” to the address you provided, our delivery obligation is considered fulfilled. We are not liable for packages that are subsequently lost or stolen from the delivery location.
How We Can Help: We will gladly assist you by providing the necessary tracking information and documentation required to file a claim directly with the shipping carrier.
5. Managing Your Shipping Address
Address Accuracy is Key: It is the customer’s sole responsibility to provide accurate, complete, and deliverable shipping information at the time of checkout.
Incorrect Address Returns: If an order is returned to us by the carrier due to an incorrect, insufficient, or undeliverable address provided by the customer:
Reshipment: The customer will be responsible for a new shipping fee to have the package reshipped to the correct address.
Refund: If the customer requests a refund, only the cost of the products will be refunded, minus the original shipping fee and any fees charged to us by the carrier for the return process.
